Guy Doucette is a graduate of the York University Theatre Studies and Creative Ensemble Program, as well an active member in various theatre companies across Toronto. His work for Back Burner Productions to date has been KD and the Bomb (2005), Let’s Talk About Beds (2006), Curse’s Child (2006), What Are You Doing Down There!? Theatre Shorts Festival (2007), The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (2007), and The Patio Plays (2007). His recent performance credits for other companies include: The Seagull Equity Showcase Theatre (2007) Telling Tales Out Of School York University & The Tarragon Theatre Near Studio (2006), I.F York University (2006), Passes York University (2005) & I, Samurai (2006) A film by Andrew Cromey. Directorial Credits include assistant directing The Seagull & Julius Caesar Word Smyth Theatre (2006/07), and directing the Vanier College Cabaret Company (2007/08). Guy is also a part of TheatrePeace, a company dedicated to peacemaking and positive youth development through arts integration, where he works as a workshop creator & facilitator for people of all ages, and rad (random acts of dance), where we plays, sings and dances. |

Eric is a founding member of Back Burner Productions, having held a variety of different positions. His most recent credit with Back Burner is the Sorcerer in this summer’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. For this August’s Patio Plays short theatre festival, as well as holding several performative roles, he produced a week of Suzan-Lori Parks’ 365 Days/365 Plays play cycle; additionally, Eric stage managed for Bruce Beaton’s Summerworks performance of Stalin Theory. |

Having completed her Theatre degree at York University last year, Vanessa decided to try something completely different: web design. She has spent the last year designing websites and being head of publicity for the Toronto Fringe Festival show How You Became Moderately Famous. She is currently working as a contributing writer for the upcoming show Appetites to be staged in February 2007.
